Cambrian Safaris

While holidaying in Aberystwyth this summer we booked a one day trip with Cambrian Safaris. We were collected at our accommodation by Richard our tour guide for the day. Our family of five plus our family dog, Buster travelled in a comfortable Land Rover Discovery escorted by our knowledgeable and friendly guide Richard into the Cambrian Mountains. We saw not only beautiful sceanery and learned a lot about the history and the landscape of the area. Richard was very knowlegable about the local wild life, botany and geology of the area. as well as the local mining history and the modern forestry industry, we travelled off road along forestry tracks as well as following some historic roads coming from England into Wales and seeing some of the large estates of the area. It was a really great day, Richard was a lovely guide willing to answer all our questions and chat away to us all. He was very patient with our autistic son and made the day very enjoyable for all the family. It was sensibly priced and a really good day. I would recommend this guided tour to anyone visiting the Aberystwyth area.
