We used to visit regularly for a cup of tea and cake, but have been getting increasingly diappointed by Cafe Courtyard.The cake selection is not as good as it used to be, the cakes aren’t as good and portion sizes are smaller. Then factor in slow and not very good service. It is no longer featured in North Lincolnshire’s latest edition of “The Tea Pot Trail” an indication that we are not alone in this judgement.

It is probably the nicest surroundings in Brigg and this has raised the star rating to 3*. Food and service only deserve 2.5*. To be honest, the cakes at “The Steel Rooms”:http://www.silvertraveladvisor.com/review?id=156924 are much better with a more interesting choice.
