Cadbury World, is a wonderful, fun day out for the young at heart. Suitable for all ages, educational and interesting, but the history tour means a lot of walking and some steps. Free chocolate bars are given at admission which delighted our granddaughter. There is a reasonably priced cafe visited by various cartoon characters who chat to the customers, and a gift shop to browse. The 4D cinema experience draws you in as you feel as if you are on the rollercoaster, flying in the air ship, and simply marvel at the technology. We had a go at making chocolate, a photo opportunity where we look like we are airborne on a bar of chocolate, and a cup of melted chocolate with our choice of treats on top. It takes several hours to complete everything the indoors has to offer to entertain, and there is a lovely outdoor play area with lots of picnic benches, weather permitting. We all thoroughly enjoyed our day out, (even granddad who can sometimes be grumpy loved it!) Our granddaughter is still telling everyone it was the best day out ever, ever, and she can’t wait to go there again. Tickets are better pre- booked online to get discounts. Adults £19, Seniors £16, 4-15 years £14 so Granddad is saving up as it is great value.
