Love this hotel in a beautiful setting. Beautiful views over the river with pink flamingos and storks flying around or lovely garden or pool and sea views. Cabanas is a quiet fishing village with lovely resturants and a few tiny bars and 1 larger bar Quasimodo which seems to be the main social place, great for early happy hour cocktails and people watching. The hotel is set up as mainly one bed apartments with balconies from both rooms, fully equipped kitchen but no freezer. But was able to get ice from the bar. We did SC but most did HB which is good value but we love to eat out at the really good resturants. As not any entertainment anywhere. Ideal for a quiet chill out relaxing holiday. Not for those wanting any night life but we're in bed by 10pm so suits us. For us it is almost perfection part from the really hard beds. We have been 5 times though despite the uncomfortable beds it is quiet so you sleep well. They also supply a boat free to the wonderful beach over the other side of the river which is free and they have walking trips free and various other activities at extra small charges.
