The moment you step inside there is the feeling that this is a cross between your most intimate romantic date and dinner at the home of your closest friends. The décor is stylishly muted and the music is quiet. We were served in a timely manner and never rushed. The food was delicious, as was the wine. The rabbit starter was soft, flavoursome and moist, an unusual and tasty treat. The locally caught Wild Sea Bass was as different to farmed as a jaguar to a pet moggie. The owners were very friendly and deserve ongoing success for the hard work they are obviously putting in. Our only regret, is that we have looked at this place several times over years of visiting Newquay but have not been able to afford eating out. We will most certainly will go again now we are comfortably retired.
