This is a delightful, newly converted barn, which sleeps 6, not far from the Derbyshire town of New Mills. There were 4 of us (2 couples) and we stayed for a couple of nights.
The accommodation was immaculate, beautifully clean and well furnished with every amenity you need for self catering.
The barn itself sits on a hillside close to the town of New Mills. You could walk down to New Mills in about 10 minutes but it is quite a steep climb back. There are fantastic views of the Peak District and the barn is dog friendly.
There is plenty to do in this lovely area of the country which is ideal for walking and you are within easy driving distance of Buxton and the rest of the High Peak villages.
Although the barn is attached to a farmhouse, it is very private and after the initial greeting the owners Cath and David left us to our own devices.
I would highly recommend this property as it is very classy and at very reasonable rates.
