We have just returned from a great short break at the International Hotel in Canary Wharf. Having read some rather negative reviews of the hotel , I was anxious about what we would find, but delighted to find that the facilities were very good. We had booked an executive room with a view of the river, and we're not disturbed by the noise of the railway. We made use of the swimming pool and spa, and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Our meal in the Spice restaurant was good, and the staff friendly. The hotel was within walking distance of the tube station, and we will certainly use this as our base on future visits to London.
