Reasons for trip

Everything here from the food to the atmosphere was enjoyable. After visiting a number of museums in Liverpool over the past few weeks which all have good cafes, it was nice to walk across to Brasco Lounge, (directly across from the Museum of Liverpool) to sample something different. There are tables and chairs, sofas, and comfy chairs in an informal setting inside and there is a patio overlooking the museum and the waterfront. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food was very tasty though my uncle could have had his with more heat (as in spice). We both had the three tapas for £9.95. I had the ‘lamb and mint koftas with tzatziki,’ the ‘hummus with extra virgin olive oil and smoked paprika’ and the ‘roasted sweet potato and butternut squash with goat’s cheese and sweet chilli jam’ and my uncle had the lamb, the ‘honey-glazed shredded five-spice pork ‘ and the ‘smoked paprika pulled chicken and chorizo with fried potatoes.’ Both came with ample ciabatta for dipping. The menu is varied including an all day brunch, Paninis, salads, wraps, sandwiches and burgers. I would definitely go back to this restaurant, or try any of the others as you will see on the website that there are a number around the UK.
