Had a most enjoyable stay at the Borgo Egnazia. The resort is quite simply stunning with lots of attention to detail. We had one 4-course meal in the restaurant and the food was delicious and very inventive. We had ice-cream with olive oil which surprisingly enough worked very well! We were fortunate enough to stay in one of the villas which was awesome and very luxurious. It came with private garden and pool. The spa is beautiful and my husband and I had the best full body massage ever. The staff were so friendly and helpful. If I was to say anything negative, it would be that the service was a little slow and wasn’t quite up to 5* standards, but the resort had just re-opened after a seasonal closure so am quite confident that the service will be top notch in high season. I would definitely return.
