Bon Appetit is a very aptly named café in Berwick-upon-Tweed. We stopped in for lunch one day and highly recommend it. The food was scrumptious and the staff were very friendly and efficient. The café is bright and cheery and very clean.
It was a very brisk and cool day outside and we had been walking so soup fit the bill for us. We all had the tomato soup which came with rolls. We were also tempted by the cakes on display so tried some of the local delicacies with our coffees. They perfectly hit the spot.
It is in the center of the old town and we parked a few blocks away in the overflow parking by the rampart gates – through the B&M parking lot.
