Reasons for trip

I love the gardens at Bodnant, they are a beautiful experience at any time of the year. I went with my daughter and two small grandchildren and it was very relaxing as there are trees to hide behind for the four year old and a safe grassy area with no fear of dog dirt contamination for the eighteen month old to toddle about and enjoy. There's nothing to criticise though the catering facility tends to be busy. What is useful to bear in mind is that it is on a hill and if you have a pushchair to push downhill there's the inevitable uphill to contend with on the way back. To get back to your car requires vigilance as well as you need to cross the main thoroughfare from the car park in order to get to your car from the Gardens exit.
