Bodelwyddan Castle is a large manor house built to look like a castle it is almost 200 years old. It has a Warner Hotel based right behind the castle but the castle itself is also a Museum. Bodelwyddan is a Regional Partner of national portrait Gallery and has a large collection of painting and some important statues. The woodland surrounding the castle has over 260 acreas and these woods are managed by Bodelwyddan Castle Trust. Function rooms can be hired in the castle and these are beautiful in fact my son held his wedding in the castle last year. The Caffi Castell is a cafe selling homemade cakes and snacks or if the weather is nice try the Tea Room Terrace. Across the busy dual carriageway is the wonderful Marble Church. Try the ghost walks around the castle that are held every few months or go to one of the many events held in the grounds.
