This is a hotel situated on a lovely square in the heart of Glasgow . It is an imposing building which had been the RAC club some years ago. You are greeted by a doorman who is very friendly then at reception the welcome is as good. We were offered help with our luggage and taken to our room . We had a lovely room , great big bed and well furnished. The bathroom was a first for me it was open plan to some extent . There was a half wall and then sliding partitions so you could close it off if you wanted to . Just behind the wall was the bath . The toilet itself was private and my husband thought the trip itself was worth it just for the wonderful shower .
Breakfast was lovely and you could have a dram of whisky with your porridge if you wanted. We did not have an evening meal here so cannot comment on that but overall a lovely experience.
