We took our family away to Bluestone for a week, 3 children, 1 teenager and 9 adults and it was a huge success, despite a few 'hiccups' due to poor internal communication. These were well handled and they didn't mar our enjoyment. Bluestone is set in a Welsh valley and seemed to be modelled on a ski resort. All buildings sympathetically blended with the environment and were off a very high spec and very clean and comfortable. There is something for everyone, the Blue lagoon pool with outside heated lazy river (yes, even in Feb!) and flumes, indoor free activity centre, outdoor play areas, nature trails, zip wire, archery, tennis, restaurants and more. The highlight for my 4 daughters and myself was 5 blissful hours in the tranquil spa. Having been to Centre Parcs, we felt this less of a campus. Bluestone also has the advantage that there are a lot of free activities and those that you pay fo rare cheaper than Centre Parcs. The one downside it that it IS hilly. A golf buggy can be hired though. If you'd like a place for a three generation holiday than this is ideal.
