Always a safe bet – a two course lunch around £18. Perfectly cooked from a varied menu.
Easy to find just off the A12. Good sized car park. Beautiful white linen tablecloths and napkins.

I had the belly of pork which just melted in the mouth accompanied by a fresh assortment of vegetables. My friend was equally pleased with the haddock mornay.

Desserts were delicious – I had the chocolate and cherry roulade whereas my friend opted for the tart au citron. the starters were equally tempting but we know we can only manage two courses and the puds won!

Why go to a pub and get mass produced boil in the bag when you can eat superbly here for the same price.
