The Bloc Hotel in Gatwick Airport is an excellent starting point if you are wanting to drive to the airport and leave your car there.
Our car was parked in the Valet Parking which meant we just drove to the Short Stay Car Park and handed over our car keys and then it was only a very short walk to the hotel in the departures area of the South Terminal.
We had an excellent room on a corner with super views. We were on the eighth floor with automated curtains. We paid £30 extra for a larger room with separate shower off the bathroom, a coffee maker and with Sky TV. There was plenty of room around the bed too. The bathroom was luxuriously appointed. I loved this hotel. On a previous occasion we had a smaller room but it was adequate and did the job!
When we returned after our holiday, we only had to walk across the road to the Short Stay Car Park and get our car keys from the desk and our car was there waiting for us. It was excellent and saved so much hassle and trouble, trying to get transport out of the airport.
