First time my husband, son, his girlfriend and myself have visited the Christmas light trail at Blenheim. There’s a park and ride available close by, which was really easy. Upon arrival, there was a carousel for the children and young at heart. There were also a great number of cabins with a huge variety of christmassy offerings, from crafts to gin, churros to cheese. Something for all ages in fact. Before the walk around the trail, we had a warming coffee and delicious cakes in the large marquee which also provided plenty of seating. The main event was booked for 7.20 so we eagerly made our way to the start. This was an amazing experience which took us 90 mins to walk slowly around. The lights were beautiful, trees lit up along the path, leading you forward to each new offering. I won’t give anything away, but it was worth every penny. A really great way to begin the Christmas season.
