I was invited here last night for a meal. It’s a restaurant in an Inn, mostly frequented, I felt, by holidaymakers, not locals. Not often a good sign. It serves very affordable food. Not gourmet but good enough for a ‘feed’. I wouldn’t recommend it for a special night out.
My friends had the beef pie with lots of fresh veg ( I was told very good) and I had the cannelloni which was a disappointment. Very dry. They had forgotten to bake it with cheese on to!! When I commented they did take it away and reheat the original one with cheese on it which made a difference.
It’s a good place for families as it’s fairly quick, comfort food that is not expensive.
However, I won’t be rushing back!
