The Black Country Living Museum is on a fairly compact site for attractions of this nature, but it packs a lot in. We went on a crisp November day, when opening hours were only 10 am to 4 pm, but we managed to see just about everything, and have a nice lunch. We walked everywhere but there are buses and trams for those less mobile. There are lots of historic buildings and industrial equipment to see, plus various different period furnished houses and shops. The staff, mostly dressed in period costume, were all very friendly and helpful. Although we didn’t participate, there were lots of Find Santa tours going on, which seemed to be very popular for those with children.
