We booked Bill's Gambling Hall because all the reviews about it told us it was in the centre of the Las Vegas strip, and it was very reasonably priced. We wanted to spend our limited money on enjoying ourselves while in Vegas, so we weren't too worried about the hotel room. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised to find that, although the cheapest on the strip, Bill's was clean, friendly and comfortable, situated opposite the famous Bellagio fountains, and had the best restaurant in town. Victoria's Kitchen was open 24 hours and many of the patrons were visiting from other hotels, just for the food. Breakfast was the cheapest we found anywhere on the strip, and the steaks were to die for. There was nightly entertainment of Karaoke and Elvis impersonators, slot machines (with incredible payouts) and poker tournaments, and a ticket desk, actually in the hotel, to book half-price tickets to all the shows. We could watch the Bellagio fountain display from Bill's, Ceasars Palace was across the road, and a taxi rank on our doorstep to go further afield. What a find! One of the older hotels on the strip, Bill's was not as 'glamerous' as some of the others but it was more family oriented. Two lifts and disabled access was available and we couldn't fault the ambience or the friendliness of the staff, from Receptionist to Cleaner. The rooms were well proportioned and clean, although a little shabby, but we saved £'s by booking there and had the time of our lives. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
