Reasons for trip

We spent 3 days over Christmas.The food was wonderful and the staff were all as attentive, cheerful and helpful as you could wish. We had a little problem with the room on arrival but this was cheerfully fixed. It is situated close to the Brockholes nature reserve and the popular very old some say “ghost ridden” Samlesbury Hall! It’s not too far down the M6 for us and we will visit again when we feel like being spoilt. It’s a popular wedding venue and has a fitness centre within the building.
