We booked this deal through Travelzoo and we weren’t disappointed. It’s a 3 star Best Western hotel on the front at Eastbourne a 10 minute drive from Beachy Head and a 10 minute walk from the town centre. It had a lovely entrance lobby that was decorated with the best Christmas Tree I’ve ever seen. Our room was small but more than adequate and we had a sea view which was lovely. The room was extremely hot but we were able to turn the heating off. The bed was very soft which is unusual these days. We took our dog with us and she had her own mat and water bowl waiting for her.

The restaurant was well appointed and the food well cooked. Breakfast was great but the evening meal although well presented was a little disappointing. We had turkey with all the trimmings and ham in madeira sauce and the meat on both dishes was cut off a rolled joint.

There is a car park beneath the hotel but there is a charge for this and off street parking is plentiful with a charge of £1 per day and tickets can be purchased at the hotel.

Overall this was a very good break and for the price can’t be beaten.
