As this is our first review for Silver Travel Advisor, we will try to aim it at your target readership, that is the ''mature'' traveller. We have used Best Western before so expected a good level of accommodation and service, we were not disappointed. The Hotel had all the charm and ''class'' of Harrogate itself with rooms and public areas that while popular and busy, were calm and quiet; quite a feat! The staff were outstanding, some bubbly some more sober (in demeaner) but all professional and obviously well trained. The Hotel was an easy, flat walk of only a few minutes from the town centre and opposite a beautiful park. One of our party has some mobilty problems, we did not ask for a special room but found everywhere had faultless access. We would have no problem recommending this Hotel for anyone seeking to see beautiful Harrogate or just staying, wining and dining in a Hotel whose exterior grandeur is matched by its level of service and value.
