This is a block of three modern units built above shore on North View Road with a large parking area to one side.
Entry is into a large kitchen/dining/sitting area with bedroom and shower room off. There was a round dining table in window with a good view across bay.
We had a grandstand view of Hurricane Igor as it swept across the bay. The guide books don’t make any mention of hurricanes and Newfoundland. …
A door led to a small patio area with chairs. This is self shutting and self locking, so don’t lock yourself out on the balcony. Unless people in adjacent cabins hear you, it could be a long wait before you are rescued as there is no way off the balconies.
There was a long couch settee with coffee table, two smaller tables and TV. The kitchen had cooker, m/v, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and fridge freezer. There was a reasonable selection of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils but there was very little working area. The water was pumped from a well and tasted very salty ( apparently a problem later in the year as the water table drops), so we ended up buying bottled water to drink.
The owners checked the units every day and supplied fresh towels if asked.
