We stayed at Warner's Bembridge Coast Hotel on the Isle of Wight with 25 other friends from our Social Group for 3 nights from 19 April 2013. Warner Leisure Hotels are an Adults only company which suits most older people. You can have a game of bowls or try archery or rifle shooting. If you prefer the indoors then there is pool, sauna steam room and gym plus a Beauty Salon with spa treatments. For those who like to stay indoors there is a full itinerary of daytime activities which include learning to dance in an afternoon. Beginners welcome to learn to waltz, jive, salsa, tango, quickstep etc. If this is not your cup of tea you can just relax in the Solent Lounge Bar and read or play cards etc. The IoW is a fantastic place for walkers of all levels. One day we went on a walk around Bembridge and another day we visited Queen Victoria's Summer Home Osborne House. Other attractions include Cowes and The Needles and a Tour around the island on an open top bus. Also a Cruise on the Solent – just to name a few. The food was a very high standard and the waitress service was excellent. Buffet Breakfasts and 3 course Dinners are all included in the cost of your holiday which can be anything from 2 to 7 nights. After dinner you can join in with bingo or a quiz followed by a professional show each night and then you can dance away the rest of the night. The hotel is situated on the east coast right next to the sea which is ideal for exploring along the coastline or just going for a pleasant stroll. Comfort and cleanliness are of the highest standard. There are a wide variety of rooms from wonderful chalets to sumptuous suites. We had a Signature room which has a bigger bed, chairs, TV and DVD player plus little extras. For a special occasion try a Royale Room with a Four Poster Bed, bathrobes, fluffy slippers and en earlier check in of 1pm. There are 13 different Warner locations and we have stayed at 6 out of 13 and we would say that Bembridge is the best so far. We will definitely be returning for a longer stay.
