We were stranded in Las Vegas due to the ash cloud. We were staying at the Bellagio Hotel and although it was worrying that we were uncertain of how or when we would get home, I must say that staying at the Bellagio definitely made things a lot easier. My husband and I went out with my son to celebrate his 21st birthday.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Rooms very luxurious and all staff very helpful and polite. We dined most days at the buffet restaurant (with a few champagne breakfasts too). It wasn’t your usual buffet faire. There were steaks for breakfast with chefs on hand to cook eggs or omelettes just how you wanted them. At every meal there was so much choice it was unbelievable.
Las Vegas isn’t a very large place and walking out and about you meet some odd characters but it is a very fun place to visit. I can recommend it.
