Reasons for trip

Travel by boat or plane to this magic kingdom and enjoy a hidden gem. Well known for the troubles of the 70s/80s Northern Ireland has moved on from those dark days of its past. There’s a stunning North Antrim coast line to explore with its UNESCO World Heritage site of the Giants Causeway, are you brave enough to cross the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge just along the coast. There are small towns like Newcastle, Port Rush, Bushmills (whiskey lovers beware) or even Ballyvoy or just have a laugh trying to pronounce some of the place names, makes asking for directions great fun.

Belfast City is a hive of activity with its great bars and restaurants, traditional old bars to trendy wine bars all tastes and pockets catered for. For any gentlemen reading this leave the credit card at home your good lady will have a field day shopping, yes you’ve the usual everyday shops but there are also the quirky and one off shops so missing from the city centers back home. If you want to walk around why not explore the Titanic quarter or the Botanic Gardens off the Stranmills Road. Moving further South if you’ve transport how about a wee ferry crossing over Strangford Lough from Portaferry to Strangford all with in easy reach of the city centre. There’s so much to see and do come and explore it for yourself, you’ll go back for more, guaranteed.
