The ambience in the Anchor restaurant near Morrison’s in Scunthorpe is friendly warm and inviting. Seats are comfortable and the menu extensive. Fish and chips were needed and we weren’t disappointed when they arrived. My husband ordered skinny fries with his as he is continental. No problem! It was excellent and a few people had come in out of the cold to enjoy a lunchtime treat. Parking is easy too and you can fit shopping in easily too after eating.
