Kurt and Monica Stucki have opened their home for B & B, and we were the grateful recipients of their very reasonably priced hospitality. We could have been in the larger self-catering flat, or the smaller double room downstairs. But we had the double- room cum studio with a small balcony on the first floor. There was evidence of Kurt's handiwork all round – his carpentry shop is in the rooms below the house; and Monica's tasteful decoration of the house made us feel completely at home. Breakfasts were something to look forward to – especially the freshly bought breads with a range of yoghurts, cheeses, preserves and meats. As a base to explore the Andelfingen area of canton Zurich you couldn't do better.
