Beautiful Hotel on the sea front.

I chose Pedn Olva for two main reasons, parking, a problem in St. Ives, and being right on the sea.
1) Pedn Olva is very near St. Ives small and picturesque rail way station and therefore near the railway car park. As there is only one small train coming in every thirty minutes noise is not a problem. Pedn Olva has parking specific parking spaces at £10 for twenty four hours. When we arrived the public car park was full so we were happy to have booked parking with the hotel in advance.
2) When I’m at the sea side I want to stay as close to the water as possible and we could not have been closer. Our lovely room was over rocks washed by the ocean, and looked across
St. Ives harbour. We slept comfortably with the window open being lulled to sleep by the waves.
The dining room also overlooks the water and, as we eat our delicious dinner we were entertained by a seal in the water below us.
The hotel is clean, the staff friendly and helpful, the lounge bar comfortable and inviting and there is even a small heated outside swimming pool.
When next in St. Ives we will be returning to stay at Pedn Olva.
