The Bath LitFest is a wide variety of literature-related events with writers that happen annually during a fortnight each March.
This year's LitFest programme offered many delicious treats including a session on 'Empire' with Jeremy Paxman, a conversation with Alexander MCall Smith about his work (96 to date and growing!), Nadine Gordimer about her latest novel and the current situation in South Africa, and a brief history of 'Suffragettes' presented by a former Museum of london curator.
The venues are as splendid as the speakers and include the Mayor's Banqueting Room in the Guildhall, resplendent with its chandeliers, and the Masonic Hall.
Experiences to treasure!
