We've stayed twice at this little gem of a place; the second time because the evening meals are so delicious and authentically Asian they are irresistable. The Bath House Hotel is tiny but beautifully presented. Each first floor room is decorated to the highest standard and immaculately clean. What makes this hotel so perfect, however, are the owners, Karinne and Ron, who make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive and are offered a complimentary hot or cold drink. The frontage is a simple Chinese Takeaway. The restaurant at the back transports you to far realms of culinary delights. There are no pretensions, just a tastefully ( excuse the pun) decorated room where families, couples and singletons come and go with ease and smiles. Next time you are passing through Chard be sure to treat yourself.
