This was an excellent hotel, good accommodation. friendly and helpful staff and a wonderful choice of food, ringing the changes most evenings. The hotel was very big and spacious and in a good position but one thing I hadn't bargained for was the noise at meal times. So many people moving around, up and down , chairs scraping, music, dishes being clattered and a hubbub of conversation. All this together created a cacophony of sound which spoiled the dinner times for me. In future I shall take the size of the hotel into consideration – will definitely book a Barcelo but one somewhat smaller.
