We went at lunchtime before we went to the Palladium and enjoyed our meal.
For starters we had the Remo special bruschetta and the chicken livers – both excellent. To follow we had veal medallions which were lovely accompanied by sugar snacks and sauté potatoes cooked to perfection. As we had time to spare we indulged in tiramisu (excellent) and pavlova (good). All this was accompanied by the reasonably priced house white wine.
Although not posh, the decor was rustic and appropriate with the staff very smart and, mainly, smiling and helpful.
A service charge was automatically added to the bill which we didn’t object to especially as no further ‘opportunity ‘ to tip was offered when paying by credit card.
We’re pleased we’ve found this authentic Italian restaurant in the West End and will return.
