If you’re ever in Banff, this is a must-do!

The gondola rises from just outside the town centre to the top of Sulphur Mountain, from where there are the most fantastic views, not only of the town from above, but of the surrounding peaks in all directions.

A new visitor centre has recently opened at the top, providing a cafe and restaurant with the same picture-postcard backdrop. There is a small museum and of course a souvenir shop, along with an area for a range of mountain-related activities.

No visit to Banff would be complete without a ride to the top!
