I actually won this holiday on Silver Travel Advisor last year but as I wasn’t too well then, they kindly let us take it this year, they and Headwater were so accommodating I do cycle a bit but had never thought of going on a cycle holiday but this was AMAZING. I did have an electric bike but my partner is a keen cyclist so did all the work himself.
It was cycling around the Lakes (beautiful) so there weren’t that many hills. Headwater gave us route maps and instructions – their reps Coin and Jill were brilliant – and my partner never got us lost – I just followed him!
After being met at the airport and taken to the first hotel, the holiday took us to four different hotels with super rooms and lovely views plus half board. We cycled to each one and had a day’s rest in between.
