Relaxation

We visited B&B Au Grenier at the end of May 2015 for 3 nights. We wanted to stay in or near Ghent, which is beautiful and far better (more real!) than Bruges. However it is difficult to park in Ghent and we were driving so the B&B was about 10-15 mins outside the centre of Ghent which was perfect.

The B&B Au Grenier is in a large house in a lovely area outside Ghent. We stayed in the suite, which was actually an apartment, attached at the side of the house. It comprised of sitting room/diner/kitchen, 2 double bedrooms and luxury shower and toilet. Everything was to the highest standard.

Breakfast was served in the main house by Anne. Bruno her husband is a doctor but is often there at lunchtime in the garden. Both Anne and Bruno are sociable and helpful. My husband actually took ill while we were there and we were shown such kindness it was so wonderful!

There is lots to see and do in Ghent of course and as an added bonus the B&B has a luxury heated outdoor swimming pool!

I have stayed in many B&Bs but none so marvellous as the B&B Au Grenier. I cannot recommend it highly enough!
