Firstly I must tell you that I always said I would never write a review but although I was tempted not to tell anyone about this wonderful Atlantica Golden Beach Hotel in Cyprus to ensure there is a vacancy when we want to return, I feel that would be selfish. Secondly when I see people on television saying "wow" when they enter a room I always said I would never do that. When the automatic doors opened to the entrance of this hotel I said "wow!, wow!" This was the start of a wow! week. Our cases were taken from us by a very charming porter and exchanged for a glass of champagne. We were led across these beautiful marble floors to a room set out with chocolates canapes and more wine. We were shown to comfortable chairs and after being warmly welcomed completing the paperwork we collected our keys and made our way to our room. This hotel has a very grand and luxurious feel to it. The hotel achieves the quality and luxury that you read about and hope one day to find. We asked for a sea view. I opened the veranda doors and wow! what a sea view. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with good quality bed linen and towels. All the staff very helpful and engaging. The dining experience was amazing. Where do they get those ideas? The food served was first class. The buffet choice at each meal was fantastic. We were allowed one night a la carte and this was special and memorable. Plenty of places to relax, comfortable sun loungers, and drinks waiter in attendance. Lovely clean pool, beautiful peaceful gardens and a pleasure to walk around the little bay. Entertainment was absolutely wonderful. Different every night. Comedians, sixties resident duo and some musicals equivalent to the West End. Beautiful location and best of all the wonderful staff that never fail in providing excellent service. Went all inclusive to this adults only hotel. Lovely trip to the Troodos Mountains lovely cool box picnic packed by the hotel especially for us! Now I am going to do a third thing I do not usually do. I am booking up for a return visit.
