We were due to visit Guildford to attend a concert and we had booked the Travel Lodge in Guildford. However on checking reviews we decided that it sounded awful so checked on other hotels and found this one. We were very glad that we did as it is an immaculate B & B on the road down into Guildford. The whole place is spotless and they served a delicious breakfast. The have organic principles and try to uphold that in every way they can. The room was a decent size with TV, safe and mini fridge with 2 bottles of water in on our arrival. They also leave you two little bars of Green and Black chocolate which was a nice touch. Our room was at the front, but even with a steady queue of traffic going into Guildford in the morning, we were not disturbed by noise. There was only a power shower in the small bathroom but it was very efficient with fabulous shampoo and shower gel.
You can eat an evening meal there with prices that are moderate, but we could not eat in as we had to leave to go to the theatre, but the menu looked very good. There is no bar, but there is an honesty book and bottles lined up in the dining area for anyone who would like a drink on their return home. Very nice place indeed. We paid £85.00 for the November night.
