I used to be a regular visitor to the hotel and know the chef to be very talented. But we stopped going for a year or two. The other week we decided to have the carvery on Sunday. It was delicious and we helped ourselves to the variety of veg which didn’t used to be so varied. I had the turkey, cooked to perfection, my husband had the beef, very good. There were quite a few in the seating area but it wasn’t crowded and there was no qeue. Staff were pleasant and it was a relaxed atmosphere. We even had a pudding, treacle sponge and custard and cheesecake..faultless!
