If you want to stay near London & want a pleasant, reasonably-priced hotel, then this is a good place to stay. The hotel is located in St Albans, consists of several large Victorian houses, with many en-suite rooms, friendly, welcoming staff & a lovely Italian restaurant on-site. The hotel is located in a quiet road, with its own car park, and is only five minutes walk from the nearest mainline station with an excellent regular and fast service to London, St Pancras. It is also only 10 minutes walk from the delightful St Albans, which has excellent shopping, lots of great restaurants and a super cathedral.
