My husband and I had always fancied a visit to Ischia in Italy, and when a deal came up, we decided to go!
Our journey went like clockwork with Fleetway travel, and as soon as I saw the outside of the hotel, I knew we’d made the right decision! It was literally on the edge of the water, on the harbour front. There were loads of different boats moored up, and lots coming and going! It was a lovely place to be just ‘ boat watching!’
Inside the hotel looked very plush. The check in was very efficient. We were taken to our room on the first floor. The room was very spacious with a lovely bathroom. We had a balcony overlooking the harbour, but were disappointed that it was positioned to the side, andbeing on the first floor, didn’t get the views I really wanted!
The hotel supplied us with bubbly and lovely nibbles. A special touch! They also gave us a voucher for a free massage!
In the morning, I thought I’d ask if another room with a view was available, it’s not something I’ve ever done before, but thought it was worth asking! They showed us another room on a higher floor, with amazing views, but just a Juliet balcony, and smaller room. We decided to change! The views were amazing!
We enjoyed the breakfast in the hotel. Such a lot of choice! Pastries, fresh orange juice, fresh fruit, ham, salads, omelette to order, the list was endless! The staff were very happy and obliging.
We also had evening meal included. This too was excellent. There was always a fresh fish option which we usually opted for. Delicious!
The hotel was a spa hotel, with a thermal pool. This was a treat in itself. We also made use of our massage. It was sheer bliss!
On the roof of the hotel was a swimming pool. Again the views were lovely.
Our stay in Ischia was wonderful. So good, we’ve booked the same hotel this year!
