The Apex City of London Hotel is located just behind the Tower of London on a quiet street. It is perfect for sightseeing in all parts of London as it is 2 mins from the underground and a short walk from all the attractions by the River Thames. Its rooms are modern and sleek and very comfortable. The bathrooms are wonderful, you can even take home the famous Apex bath rubber duck as a souvenir. There is a small gym and a restaurant and cocktail bar. The drinks and food are quite expensive as in most London hotels. The service is excellent and the reception is friendly and helpful. Another good point is the proximity to the tube station to take you to the O2 arena, just a few minutes. I can really recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay in london. You need to book well in advance as it is very popular.
