We were disappointed to find that you can only buy tickets online for this attraction, which we hoped would be the highlight of our trip to Amsterdam.
Tickets are sold out weeks in advance. The website advised that 20% of tickets are available ‘ on the day’s. Pants on fire. I tried for the 3 days we were in Amsterdam, even getting up early to get online, including a couple of attempts in the wee small hours when my bladder woke me up. No joy – well apart from successful bathroom trip.
My tip would be if visiting Amsterdam, book all museum visits in advance, as most are going down this route. We managed to get tickets for art galleries the day before, but even those were in limited supply. I’d predict the summer months would be fully booked weeks in advance.
Unfortunately, I can’t give a fair rating to an attraction, I was unable to enter. If I have to, I’ll go middle for diddle.
