Arrived at Anib Lodge with my daughter after a long drive. It is such a charming place, and the staff could not have been more friendly.
The accommodation is separate lodges/bungalows. A welcome decanter of sherry in our room, Air Con at just the right temperature, and a very luxurious room. After a great shower, we were just in time for evening meal. The food was excellent. Everyone ate outside with flickering lights on each table, as it was dark. A magical atmosphere.
Up early, as we had arranged to go on a sunrise ‘game hunt’. This is optional for around £30, and there were only 6 of us in jeep. Saw some beautiful sights and an amazing variety of animals.
Back at lodges just in time for a late breakfast, which was piping hot and delicious. As I got myself organised, my daughter topped up her tan at the poolside, then we were off to the next port of call, as we were waved off by the ‘game drive’ guys. Highly recommended.
