See how America celebrates Christmas at the American Museum in Bath. Open until Sunday 18th December 2011.

This museum is in a lovely old manor house and its many rooms are specially decorated for Christmas. You can see how American settlers lived through the winters and all sorts of Christmas foods that they prepared for their guests.

Last minute Christmas shopping is a pleasure in the Museum shop where you will find unusual stocking fillers and decorations, then relax in the welcoming cafe that offers light meals and refreshments.

Finally, transport is easy with a free shuttle bus runs to and from Bath city centre until Sunday 18 December.
