Last weekend, I thought I was having a birthday weekend away with my daughter and family. However, when we arrived at this beautiful Farmhouse, my 2 sons and all their wonderful families also turned up …. 13 of us, I was absolutely speechless.
Set in beautiful countryside there was so much for us all to do … farmland walks, a heated swimming pool, a snooker room, tennis courts … plus close enough to visit Bradford upon Avon, such a pretty little place.
On the Saturday night, my daughter had arranged for a Cocktail making demonstration, then also our own personal chef who cooked a 3 course dinner for all of us in the farmhouse kitchen….. it was so lovely. We partied till the early hours and I was even given a cardboard cutout of Pierce Brosnan to dance with 🤣
On our last day, we went to Bath where we’d been booked into a Spa. We swam in a rooftop open air pool, that was so warm, it was bliss. This was followed by the sauna and steam room.
We drove home and I was on cloud nine. For my 3 amazing children to have treated me to all this, knowing that I’m at my happiest when they’re all together, it was a dream weekend.
Certainly a birthday celebration that I will never forget, and made me feel so loved and so appreciated. It was bliss from beginning to end.
