Situated right on the sandy beach between the resorts of Alykanas and Alykes, the Alykanas Beach Aparthotel is an ideal base for beach lovers and island explorers looking to find relaxation and recharging of life's batteries. The aparthotel consists of studios and apartments set over three floors. The high floors afford the best views of the bay but unfortunately there are no lifts here. However the staff will do their utmost to allocate you the floor you require. The apartments have everything anyone could need to prepare light snacks, plus there is an on site taverna serving wonderful meals and snacks and there are a variety of local tavernas close by serving different cuisine. This area is level for walking and it is a pleasure exploring the locality on foot,wandering along the pretty riverside which is close by. It is from here boat trips can be arranged and a visit to the well known Smugglers Cove is a must. For those opposed to walking, there are horses and carriages to hire to take you back in time, meandering along the pathways to the steady clip clop of their hooves. The one thing which spoils this accommodation are the beach sellers who constantly enquire if you want CD's, DVD's, sunglasses, beachbags and the guys offering massages….still a small price to pay for this otherwise perfect idyll.
