Relaxation

Only went for a taster break of 2 days. I was looking forward to leaving the car for 2 days and do all of the activities. I wasn’t disappointed and managed to pull in archery, rifle shooting golf, snooker and croquet. We did try the lawn bowls but the green was not a prepared green, being very bumpy so was a disappointment. The entertainment on both nights was very good, Elton tribute followed by the entertainments team. The dining room here is in the entertainment room so once dinner is finished you keep the same seats. The meals were excellent. Breakfast is buffet with extras being cooked as you watched, The dinner was a mixture of buffet and service depending on what you chose.

The leisure centre had a good size swimming pool and not vey crowded. The bedroom we had was a good size with a settee. There are different size bedrooms dependent on your budget.

The only drawback is the lounge areas where people also eat lunch and afternoon tea, was too small for the number of people staying. It wasn.t a relaxing space as there was too many people coming and going.
