Alnwick Garden is pretty spectacular, and in a particularly beautiful part of the UK. If you are heading to Northumberland any time soon, then Alnwick Garden is a must-see.

Our 3 year old LOVED playing in the fountains and water features. This is allowed, actively encouraged during warm weather in fact, so remember to take spare clothing for the little ones!

There is a cafe on site, but so much grass for picnicing if weather permits. The Poison Garden tour is fascinating and the treehouse is pretty spectacular.

All in all, a fantastic day out, but beware of the weather. There is some cover, but nothing at all to do during inclement weather – which is the only disappointing feature of an otherwise great day out.
